Penray’s aerosol Connector Seal 7015 creates a weatherproof barrier between electrical connections and the well-known threats of water or corrosive chemicals.

Penray’s Connector Seal.

While dielectric grease focuses around a metal connector, this product is meant to encapsulate an entire connector assembly, eliminating the potential path for any threats. Simply spray it in place, and a film of .005 to .010 inches will dry in seconds.

The clear coating doesn’t mask the color-coding on electrical wires, Penray notes. The material is also formulated to resist temperatures up to 250 Fahrenheit, withstanding the heat generated by electrical connectors that have a high current draw, it adds.
