Sterling Truck Corporation makes organizational changes

WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — Sterling Truck Corporation announced that Nicholas Cole has been named Southeastern region general manager, and Kevin Martin has been promoted to director of vocational sales.

In his new position, Cole will be responsible for working with Sterling dealers and customers across 11 states and in Puerto Rico. He will oversee a team of district sales managers and report to Jon Wyman, Vice President Sales, Sterling Trucks.

Cole joined Sterling in 1998 as a District Sales Manager. Soon after, he was promoted to Director of Vocational Sales, where he helped lead his team to increased market share across Sterling’s core vocational segments. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Martin will be responsible for the oversight of all vocational sales for the company. Martin will be headquartered in Willoughby and will manage a team of vocational sales managers. He will report directly to Jon Wyman, vice-president sales, Sterling Trucks.

Martin has been a member of the Sterling team since its inception in 1997. His most recent position was Sterling’s Vocational Sales Manager in the concrete and refuse industries. He has over 25 years experience in the commercial truck industry and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from DeSales University.

Martin succeeds Nicholas Cole, who has been promoted to General Manager of Sterling’s Southeastern Region.
