Surfsight video comes to Geotab Marketplace
Geotab is partnering with Lytx to provide an integrated Surfsight camera on the Geotab Marketplace.
The Surfsight AI-12 camera will leverage live video, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as part of Geotab’s telematics platform.
More than a simple dashcam, the unit can detect distracted driving, delivers audio and visual alerts, and will connect to auxiliary cameras, Geotab says. It can identify driver behaviors including smoking, eating and drinking, using handheld devices, seatbelt use, and other distractions.
When connected with a Geotab GO9 device, it can also capture video evidence associated with sudden acceleration, sharp turns, and harsh braking.
It’s the first product to be offered through the new Geotab Order Now feature, making it possible to order the solution within the MyGeotab platform, and have the order fulfilled by an authorized Geotab Reseller.
