SUSPENSION BUSHINGS

Ridewell Suspensions has introduced its new composite FiberTech bushing, created in collaboration with a European custom bushing supplier. It’s said to offer high frictional resistance to bushing slippage after installation, while needing low force to install and remove.

Ridewell says it’s also exceptionally durable due to a unique bushing and eye interface. It has a “self-preserving nature” when subjected to radial overloads and is securely retained to the eye without adhesives or clamping.

The bushing is designed to offer improved roll stability over ‘cavity’ style bushings, the maker says, adding that there’s no need to orient the bushing on installation as required with cavity bushings. It will be available on several new Ridewell suspensions for a variety of
applications and capacities.
