SYNTHETIC ENGINE OIL

Petro-Canada has added Duron-E Synthetic 5W-40 to its premium line of heavy-duty engine oils. Formulated for both on- and off-road use, it’s a CJ-4 lube that meets 2007 and 2010 EPA-compliant engine specs. It’s also back-serviceable for use in pre-‘07 engines.

Petro-Can says it’s well suited to extended drain intervals while offering low engine wear, minimized oxidative thickening, corrosion protection, and optimal cold-start-up performance.

Duron-E Synthetic 5W40 is suited for 4-stroke diesel, gasoline, and some natural gas automotive applications where SAE 5W-40 is recommended, and it’s fine for use with both ultra-low and low-sulphur diesel fuel.
