Luberfiner’s LFP9001XL for the Cummins ISX engine builds on its full-flow counterpart by using synthetic filter media, enhancing filter efficiency over a longer period of time. The end result can reduce the frequency of filter replacements.

Referencing tests against competing filters, the company says this design is twice as effective at removing particulates at 5 microns, has 45% more capacity to capture particulates, and is 8% less restrictive to the engine’s oil flow under harsh conditions at a flow rate of 25 gallons per minute.
