T800 MODEL ADDS BIG CATS
Kenworth now offers Caterpillar C15 600 and 625-hp engines in the T800 high-hood model. Heavy hauler, rock and dirt, owner-operator and logging customers will be especially interested. Cat’s C15 600 engine provides 1850 lb ft of torque at 1200 rpm and the 625 offers 2050 lb ft at 1200. The T800 high-hood truck with these engines requires a manual transmission and Kenworth’s 1430 sq-in. radiator.
