Talon Series Highway Scale

Fairbanks Scales, founded way back in 1830, offers its new Talon Series highway vehicle scale with ‘Intalogix’ technology. Claimed to have the longest-lasting construction of any steel-deck scale in the industry, the Talon is offered in two capacities: the Talon HV design is a “dependable” design for most applications. For extreme volume weighing applications, the Talon HVX is designed to withstand such duty cycles.

The scale is offered with either a steel deck or field-poured concrete and its modules are built to U.S. federal bridge standards. Talon scales have a solid deck design that’s said to resist deflection and metal fatigue. The open-bottom design creates a natural ventilation system. Armored stainless-steel load-cell cabling is provided for durability. The Talon also has truly hermetically sealed load cells for protection from moisture as well as encapsulated circuit boards.

Intalogix digital load-cell technology is a standard feature of all Talon scales. It works by converting a weak analog load-cell signal to a stronger, more reliable digital interface, ensuring consistent performance.

The Talon product line is available for application in permanent above-ground foundations or shallow pit applications. The scales can be delivered in portable form or  in a highway-system configuration to capture axle weights.
