Tectran has introduced its new heavy-duty and extreme-duty tender spring kits, engineered to meet the demands of modern tractor-trailers while keeping connection lines securely off the deck, the company said in a news release.

The heavy-duty models are designed to replace standard Tectran dual spring tender kits for 3IN1 and 4IN1 connection lines, while the extreme-duty versions are built to handle heavier applications, such as hydraulic hoses.

The new springs feature heavy-gauge construction and are engineered specifically for modern connection systems and auxiliary equipment. The 16-inch and 25-inch springs are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance and can be paired without overpowering each other. The heavy-duty models are optimized for wrapped AirPower lines and heavier coiled systems, while the extreme-duty models are ideal for suspending hydraulic hoses and other heavy-duty items, Tectran says.

The kits also come with durable sleeves, designed to cover the springs when collapsed, making handling safer and easier. According to the release, Tectran uses stainless-steel hardware for the sleeves, enhancing durability and corrosion resistance, with flexible yet strong sleeve material to ensure long-term performance.

Tectran’s snap clips are made from oversized stainless steel. The large opening on the clips allows them to easily snap over round slider bars up to one inch in diameter. For configurations that include the TEC-Clamp, Tectran provides stainless-steel clips to enhance overall reliability.
