Tectran has introduced its Inflection dual pole horizontal cables, designed to support charging trailer liftgate batteries and other high-current auxiliary power applications.

The cables feature over-molded plugs constructed from a high-performance, engineered polymer, according to the company.

These cables include 4-gauge, high-strand count, copper conductors, ensuring reliable performance in various conditions. The abrasion-resistant jacket is built to withstand exposure to diesel, gasoline, and commonly encountered road and cleaning chemicals, making it suitable for challenging environments.

The Inflection cables offer a maximum current carrying capacity of 200 amps for 12V intermittent use and 100 amps for continuous 12V use. They are designed with an integrated strain relief section to protect the cable and terminal connections, enhancing their durability.

The cables are also equipped with solid plugs that encapsulate the terminals and wires, effectively sealing out water and contaminants, Tectran says, adding that the advanced ArticFlex cable jacket formula allows the cables to function in extreme cold temperatures as low as -65 C.
