MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Thermo King has introduced Pocket Wintrac software an extension of the Wintrac data management and report generation utility for Thermo King truck and trailer microprocessor controllers.

The software is designed for Pocket PC devices running Windows Pocket PC operating systems and is a replacement for costly and bulky laptop PCs, the company says.

Data can be downloaded from multiple dataloggers and controllers for transfer to Wintrac or FleetWatch management software from supported devices such as the SmartReeger2 controller, the AccuTrac in-cab datalogger, TranScan datalogger recorders or the Data Aquisition System.

"Pocket Wintrac provides a cost-effective way for any service technician or fleet manager to download cargo data and maintenance information quickly and effortlessly," says Brian Meagher, Thermo King electronics product manager. "It also allows the flash loading of new software and OptiSet unit configurations and gives customers the ability to program their own data recording parameters in the CargoWatch datalogger or DAS."

Drivers can use the system to verify cargo temperature at the point of delivery, download information about the last trip and display temperature information as a graph or transfer the data to a customers’ PC for verification. For more information, visit www.thermoking.com.
