Tiremaster switches to Michelin retread system

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Tiremaster Ltd. is converting its retreading operations from the Bandag retreading process to the Michelin Retreading Technologies (MRT) process, the Brampton, Ont.-based company announced.

“As we look toward the future, we’re confident that Michelin’s technology, quality and cradle-to-grave approach is the best solution for our customers — particularly the large national fleets,” said Ron Cherry, president of Tiremaster. “After decades in the retreading business, I’m sold on the MRT process supported by Michelin service.”

Added Matt Cooney, president of Michelin North America (Canada0: “Tiremaster is a highly respected leader in providing a full spectrum of tire management services to the trucking industry.
