TITAN’S WALK-THRU B-TRAIN

In response to market demands to carry more product in one load or to have the flexibility of carrying two different loads to two different destinations in one truck
without unhooking, Titan Trailers has an answer: North America’s first flow-through aluminum B-Train with a live floor. The new Titan ‘Walk-Thru’ trailer uses patented
Thinwall side panels and a Keith walking floor system.

The secret to creating this 62 ft, 8-in. long trailer is the hydraulic system that brings the two units together.

“If a trucker has two loads going to two different locations, this trailer can do it,” says Mike Kloepfer, Titan president. “If he shows up at the tipper and there’s a lineup to get on, he has the option of unloading almost 5000 cu ft of product in less than 10 minutes. If the load is frozen, the operator can change the direction of the
walking floor system on the lead trailer and unload it through the front of the trailer.”

He says the new B-Train has the carrying capacity of approximately 25% more than a Titan 53-ft Tipper or live-floor trailer, adding that the versatile new trailer can self-unload in a straight pile or go on a tipper platform. It’s been tested – successfully, by all accounts — in northern winter conditions of -30 degrees, the company says.
