TOOLBOX DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE

Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems has announced the release of its Toolbox software Version 7.01 for the company’s electronic products. This latest update accommodates ABS-based stability enhancement systems,
among others.

This latest version’s revisions include diagnostic capabilities for two additional functions: electronic stability control diagnostics for tractor ABS and electronically controlled air suspensions (ECAS) for buses. There are also several new features for the hydraulic power brake (HPB) diagnostics program. A user’s manual and documentation on adaptive devices are included as well.

It’s a PC-based diagnostics program that provides technicians with a display of both constant and changing information for the system under test (e.g. ECU number and RPMs, respectively); a display of both active and stored system faults, as well as the appropriate repair instructions; and activation of components to verify system integrity, proper component operation, and installation wiring.

Toolbox is distributed by SPX Service Solutions. For more
