Tractor ABS with In-Cab Lamp

Meritor WABCO’s new E-Version tractor antilock braking system was developed to satisfy U.S. and Canadian federal requirements for an in-cab trailer ABS indicator lamp. Available now, the product also provides the foundation for future communications capabilities.
E-Version ABS incorporates power line carrier (PLC) communications technology, which allows data and power to be transmitted simultaneously on the ABS power wire. Configurations meet virtually any application: 4S/4M, 6S/4M and 6S/6M.
Easy-to-use diagnostics include: standard blink code; Meritor WABCO’s exclusive PC Diagnostic TOOLBOX Software; and Pro-Link 9000 or Pro-Link Plus. Extended diagnostics capabilities have been added to diagnose Meritor WABCO Easy-Stop trailer ABS as well, via the tractor system. Automatic traction control (ATC) is now available as an option for all ABS ECU configurations. There’s also a roll stability control (RSC) option in frame-mounted ECUs available for select applications.
