Trailmobile trailers to come standard with ArvinMeritor components

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Trailmobile has made ArvinMeritor axles, brakes and air suspensions standard equipment on its full line of trailers.

The long-term supplier agreement begins this month, the company announced. Trailmobile manufactures its trailers out of its Mississauga, Ont. plant.

“We’re delighted to offer our customers the Meritor quality brand in axles, brakes and air suspension systems,” announced Tom Wiseman, president of Trailmobile.

Components to be supplied by ArvinMeritor include: cam brakes; the RideSentry air suspension; automatic slack adjusters; and wheel ends. Customers will also be able to spec the Meritor Tire Inflation System by P.S.I. Trailmobile trailers will also come equipped with Meritor WABCOs anti-lock and advanced braking systems.
