Transcraft plant builds special unit
ANNA, Ill. – Milestones have always been a key part of the transport business, they tell you where you’re going and where you’ve been.
Few markers surpass the one set by Transcraft’s Eagle plant in Mount Sterling, Ky., however, which is celebrating the 10,000th trailer to roll off the assembly line.
To commemorate this achievement, Transcraft is offering customers the opportunity to purchase the actual, special-edition 10,000th trailer-complete with options, accessories, decals and a trip to the plant as number 10,000 rolls off the line.
From July 1, to Aug. 2, all Mount Sterling Eagle or Eagle II trailers purchased by the dealer from the factory at a non-discounted price will be eligible for the drawing. Your local dealer will have more details, but suffice it to say the winner of the Aug. 3 draw will be able to purchase the special edition 10,000th trailer.
As well, they’ll get an all-expense paid trip to Mount Sterling for a media conference with the facility workforce to present the 10,000th trailer.
Decals on the main beam and a customized bumper filler plate with “10,000th Trailer” cut into the unit and backed with a red reflector. Extra accessories valued at $1,000, including a toolbox, headboard and chain ties will be thrown in and a special leather jacket – embroidered on the front and back commemorating the 10,000th trailer.
In total, Transcraft has built nearly 80,000 platform trailers during its 40 years of operation.
