LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Truck-Lite Co., Inc. has introduced a series of LED lamps for the retail markets.

Brad Van Riper, vice-president of research and development, says with the advent of Signal-Stat LED line by Truck-Lite, owner/operators and smaller fleets can now get quality lighting products. They no longer need to resort to offshore products unknown quality and support to control costs, says Van Riper.

New Signal-Stat LED lamps will initially be available in four inch round and oval stop, turn and tail models and the two inch and 2.5 inch round maker clearance models. These lamps will have an extended two-year limited warranty.

The Signal-Stat LED line features an extensive pattern of multiply diodes, they are easily retro-fitted and use standard mounting holes and accessories, LED lighting are less susceptible to shock and vibration and they draw less current which allows more power for other vehicle requirements.

Truck-Lite has also recently introduced a fully featured Signal-Stat turn signal switch for medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

The switch combines multiple functions, eliminating the need for other controls on the dashboard. The basic switch includes right and left turn signals for up to eight lamps per side and four-way hazard flashing for up to 16 lamps. Lift-to-Dim and Flash-to Pass options are available and advanced models are also available with windshield wiper options.

The new Signal-Stat turn signal and multi-function switches have glass-filled nylon housings for strength, and each is sealed by a polymer boot to protect from dirt and moisture.
