DON MILLS, Ont. — Truck News and Motortruck have a combined threee entries in the finals of this year’s prestigious Kenneth R. Wilson editorial awards.

The awards represent the most respected recognition for business writing.

Truck West editor James Menzies leads the way with two entries in the finals. Menzies’ feature on mountain trucking basics and another feature on the benefits of concrete in road building captured the judges’ eye.

Truck News’ sister publication, Motortruck, also had a feature selected for the finals. The feature, Straight talk on synthetics, written by contributing editor Paul Stastny, is an insightful look at the issues of synthetic lubricants.

The final selection of the winners will take place in early June at a Canadian Business Press awards dinner.
