The 2007 Kenworth/Trucker Buddy calendar is now available. First published in 2004, it features winners of a drawing contest and Kenworth’s new truck models. Each year students in the Trucker Buddy program submit drawings of safety messages their Trucker Buddies have taught them, and 12 entries are selected from hundreds of submissions. These winning drawings are featured in the 2007 calendar, proceeds from which are used to further the goals and mission of the Trucker Buddy program, helping it to reach more classrooms around the world.

The Trucker Buddy program, which pairs truck drivers with classrooms in what is basically an elaborate pen-pal relationship, has had Kenworth’s support since the very beginning. The truck-maker became a major contributor in 1993.

Calendars will be given to companies and individuals who make a donation to Trucker Buddy while supplies last; they also can be purchased for US$5 each through the Trucker Buddy website (see URL below). Inquiries about quantity orders are welcome, at 1-800-693-8339.
