Dealer app maker Truckmore is partnering with Daimler to connect fleets to Uptime Pro using a customer’s preferred communication method and device.

Canadian dealer group Metro Truck Group is among the first dealers to sign on with the service. Truckmore says the service will streamline the maintenance process for fleets, offering easy access to Uptime Pro through dealer websites, dealer apps, customer portals, smartphones and tablets.

Users will be able to more quickly approve estimates, track communications, and improve repair speeds.

“Downtime for fleet customers translates to financial losses,” said Jeff Koppeser, service manager, Metro Truck Group. “By utilizing Truckmore and Uptime Pro for Mobile, service scheduling becomes easier, and real-time communications between customers and our service centers ensure that fleets are more efficient and promptly back on the road.”

Marty Kubiak, manager of central service systems at Daimler Truck North America, added: “Our collaboration with Truckmore helps dealers to provide a seamless and transparent service maintenance experience by enabling fleet customers to utilize Uptime Pro through their preferred mode of communication – any time, from any location, and on any device. With Uptime Pro for Mobile, dealers elevate customer satisfaction by maximizing uptime to unprecedented levels.”
