Truckstop.com Heavy Haul Load Board now uses ProMiles route intelligence for pricing
Truckstop.com and ProMiles have expanded their partnership to introduce route-based quoting within the Truckstop.com Heavy Haul Load Board, aiming to help carriers price oversize and overweight loads using actual route and permit data.
The update integrates ProMiles route intelligence directly into the quoting process, applying jurisdiction-specific permit rules and calculating multi-state permitting costs based on the planned route, according to a news release.
“Heavy haul carriers operate with more variables and pricing complexity than most freight segments,” said Todd Waldron, vice president of carrier experience at Truckstop.com. “Bringing ProMiles route intelligence into the Heavy Haul Load Board gives carriers pricing they can stand behind before they accept the load.”

Instead of relying on estimates or separate systems, carriers can view route requirements and associated costs alongside load opportunities. The companies said quotes will reflect permit requirements, automatically calculate pilot car and escort costs, and help reduce under-quoting risk on complex moves.
The route-based quoting capability is delivered through API-driven workflows designed to speed response times and allow carriers to scale quoting without adding manual processes.
