UNIVERSAL INSULATED BULKHEAD
Thermo King’s new PrimAir ‘Universal’ insulated bulkhead, made in partnership
with ITW Insulated Products, offers adjustments to fit multiple trailer heights and
widths. It’s said to eliminate practically all the sizing problems associated with conventional bulkheads, because its universal design makes it fit “virtually every
trailer dimension.”
It provides the same full temperature separation as other TK PrimAir bulkheads.
Because of its thermally efficient design, the PrimAir Universal will seal both new
and even older, bowed trailers, the company says. This allows the unit to be
moved easily from trailer to trailer within a fleet.
It comes in a two-piece, lightweight design that’s easy for drivers to handle. Installation time is also reduced, and Thermo King dealerships stocking the PrimAir Universal can replace damaged bulkheads immediately.
