US tank trailer maker signs up Canadian distributor

CALEDON, Ont. — Portland-based tank and trailer manufacturer Beall Corp. announced that Krohnert Industries of Toronto will be the company’s product distributor for Canada, effective today.

John Krohnert, president of Krohnert Industries, and his organization will handle the complete line of Beall tankers, pneumatics, and aluminum bottom dump trailers.

From their head office in Caledon, Ont. near Toronto, Krohnert will have the authority to sign up various dealers throughout Canada to enhance their marketing efforts.

In a press release, Krohnert says this is the right time to enter into the distributor relationship because of the quality and weight benefits of Beall products, the strong Canadian market, and the Canadian dollar versus the U.S. dollar.

Assigning Krohnert the Canadian market is part of Beall’s marketing plan to extend their overall sales efforts through a concentrated number of dealers in North America.

The family-owned Beall business has five manufacturing facilities, 13 sales and service branches and more than 500 employees. It is the third largest manufacturer of bulk and tank trailers in the United States, and the largest manufacturer of custom tanks.
