COLUMBUS, Ind. — Volvo will continue to offer the Cummins ISX engine in its VN and VT trucks, the company has announced.

The agreement to offer the ISX was extended today, according to a release issued by the companies.

“The ISX has consistently proven itself with Volvo’s highly demanding heavy-duty truck customers and we’re excited about the extension of our agreement,” said Cummins president, Engine Business, Jim Kelly.

“We are pleased to announce the extension of our agreement with Cummins,” added Volvo Trucks North America president and CEO, Peter Karlsten. “The Cummins ISX and the Volvo VN are a great combination. A number of our customers choose the ISX, and Cummins remains a valued partner of Volvo.”
