GREENSBORO, N.C. — Mack and Volvo have released video testimonials from fleets that have tested the companies selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology in advance of EPA2010.

To view the Mack videos, visit http://www.macktrucks.com/default.aspx?pageid=2561 and select ‘Click here to view the Mack SCR Customer Experience video’ on the left side of the screen.

The Volvo video can be found at http://www.volvo.com/trucks/na/en-us/products/engines/EPA10/SCR/scr.htm.

The videos show North American fleets with real-world SCR experiences discussing key points such as fuel economy and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) requirements.

“These experiences, as well as those of the other Mack SCR test fleet customers, clearly demonstrate why SCR is the technology of choice to successfully meet the strictest emissions standards in the world, while providing improved fuel economy and low operating costs,” Mack Trucks said in a release.

“Their testimonials bear out the reasons why Volvo Trucks chose SCR to meet the EPA2010 emissions regulations:  excellent fuel economy, low operating costs, better engine performance and near-zero emissions, without resorting to credits,” added Volvo.
