Volvo reaches deal with union at New River Valley truck plant

DUBLIN, Va. — Volvo Trucks has reached a deal with its union at the company’s New River Valley truck plant here.

The tentative agreement stretches over three years and covers about 2,600 UAW members.

Details of the deal are being withheld pending ratification by the union. Volvo assembles its VT, VN and VHD trucks at the plant.
