NEW YORK, NY — Volvo has offered up the use of its Volvo and Mack heavy-duty trucks for cleanup efforts in New York following Tuesday’s terrorist attacks at no cost to the city.

In a letter to New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Volvo says “We, at Volvo, if possible, would like to extend a helpful hand sine we have an extensive network of factories and dealerships in this region, including a wide array of Volvo and Mach heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment.”

They go on to offer their wheel loaders, dump trucks, excavators and motor graders as well as heavy-duty trucks.

“We will make these vehicles available whenever and wherever needed to assist New York City,” says the letter.”
