GREENSBORO, N.C. –The latest machine to wear Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s famous No. 8 is not on the racetrack.
But a few lucky drivers will be in the winner’s circle with the new Dale Earnhardt Jr. Limited Edition Signature VN from Volvo Trucks North America, Inc.

This limited edition combines the visual and emotional excitement of the Dale Earnhardt, Inc. NASCAR racers, with the style, comfort, performance and productivity of Volvo’s VN.

Volvo Trucks is the Official Heavy Truck of DEI. Limited Edition Volvo VNs will be available from Volvo Truck dealers in two long-haul models: the popular VN670 and the flagship VN780.

Outside is a special exterior paint and trim design, with black Imron 6000 paint, bold chrome accents, vinyl graphics inspired by No. 8’s race-ready design, and a special Limited Edition badge on the hood.

Inside is a unique top-of-the-line trim selection – the Elite Techno with Prism color for the VN780, and Signature Techno with Titanium color for the VN670. The special Limited Edition badge is also found on the dash, and the Dale Earnhardt Jr. signature is displayed on the seatbacks, interior trim and other locations in the cab.

There is also a component package carefully chosen for the long-life, low-maintenance and high productivity demanded by successful owner-operators. The models are available with either the Volvo VED12 or Cummins ISX engine, at up to 565 hp. A full range of drivetrain and related component options can be spec’ed.

Both models come with: special heated and swiveling leather seats; air conditioning, with sleeper climate controls; power windows; power remote door locks; power mirrors; AM/FM stereo, with CD player and deluxe speaker system; a foldable workstation table in the sleeper; tall wardrobe with doors; refrigerator with freezer; microwave prep kit; TV/VCR prep kit; adjustable tilt steering and telescoping steering column; shore power hookup.
