Wabash gives Hendrickson top supplier award
LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Wabash National presented awards to eleven of its top suppliers at its recent annual supplier conference.
Ten platinum awards were given to suppliers that demonstrated the essential aspects of supply chain performance in delivery, quality, cost, innovation and attitude.
The recipients of these awards were: Dow Chemical, Meritor/Wabco, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, O’Neal Steel, Standard Forwarding, Overseas Hardwoods, Truck-Lite, Webb Wheel, Jost International, and Ridge Corporation.
The trailer maker also presented the 2009 Supply Chain Leadership and Performance Pinnacle Supplier Award to Hendrickson Trailer Suspension.
This award is presented to the supplier who has shown "cost advantages through the implementation of new and alternative products; leadership in project implementation; team responsiveness at all levels of the organization; leadership in proactive solutions throughout the supply chain; and have positioned their organization as an extension of Wabash National."
