CALGARY, Alta. — Calgary’s Wellco Energy Services has ordered six new 4900 FA heavy-duty trucks from Western Star.

The trucks were sold through the Western Star Calgary Ltd. dealership.

“We are pleased to include Wellco Energy Service in the Western Star family of customers,” said John Merrifield, senior vice-president of sales and marketing for Western Star Trucks. “With the support of Western Star Calgary, Ltd., we look forward to continuing the relationship for many years to come.”

Wellco is a growing company that provides oilfield services. Three of the new trucks will serve as vacuum units for the disposal of drilling wasted water and the rest will support the environmental division as water trucks.
