Kenworth T370

Bendix Wingman Fusion collision avoidance systems are now being offered as factory-installed options on Kenworth T270 and T370 models – in addition to their T680 and T880 counterparts.

The equipment combines readings from truck-mounted radar and a camera with the vehicle’s brake system. The end result not only alerts drivers, but can cut a vehicle’s speed up to twice as much as an earlier generation of the system, helping to mitigate potential rear-end collisions, or at least make them less severe.

While the radar watches for things like stationary vehicles, the camera supports features like Lane Departure Warnings and overspeed alerts.

It’s all built on the foundation of Bendix’s ESP full-stability program.
