Yokohama Canada names new president

LANGLEY, B.C. – Eric Dedoyard has been tapped by Yokohama Tire Canada to spearhead regional sales growth as president of the company’s Canadian operations.

Dedoyard replaces Alec Pigulevsky, who retired earlier this year.

Dedoyard is a 17-year veteran of Yokohama Tire Canada, serving most recently as vice president and chief operating officer. Before that, he was director of sales.

As new president, Dedoyard will implement in Canada Grand Design 100, a global sales initiative designed to drive sales growth through this decade, the company said in a press release.

"Yokohama Rubber Company has appointed the person they feel best able to inspire the confidence required aiming for this target, and the vision required to reach it," said Toshikazu Sano, chairman of Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc.

The company says Dedoyard will divide his time between the Yokohama Canada offices in Montreal, Toronto and the corporate headquarters in Langley, B.C.
