Yokohama expands commercial truck tire line
Yokohama Tire has launched three new commercial truck tires – the all-position 504C and 115R, and the urban pickup-and-delivery 714R. The company has also expanded the sizes for its 715R open shoulder regional drive tire and the 114R regional haul wide-base trailer tire.
The new 504C is an aggressive all-position radial designed with a sturdy undertread to handle punishment in on-/off-highway applications. It replaces Yokohama’s MY507, and will be offered in May in sizes 11R22.5 (H) and 11R24.5 (H).
The 714R features a durable construction and excellent fuel efficiency, Yokohama claims. It will be available this summer in sizes 225/70R19.5 (14) and 245/70R19.5 (16).
The 115R will also launch this summer. It’s an all-season/all-position tire for the Classes 4-5 segment, which offers excellent year-round traction, Yokohama says. The 115R will be initially be available in a 225/70R19.5 (14).
New sizes for the 715R include295/75R22.5, 285/75R24.5 and 11R24.5. It’s already offered in size 11R22.5.
The 114R wide-base single will be available this spring in a new size – 455/55R/22.5 – as well as the current 445/50R/22.5.
