WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition has launched a new quarterly newsletter it says is designed to provide timely and accurate information about alternative-fuel buses.
The Clean Bus Report will help eliminate confusion among transit officials and policy makers about the relative emissions, reliability and performance of alternative-fuel buses compared to diesel units including “green diesel” buses, says the NGHVC.
The newsletter features information about natural gas and hydrogen-powered buses, federal legislation affecting transit fuel decisions, and other news for transit officials.
The NGHVC is a national organization representing more than 180 natural gas companies, equipment manufacturers and service providers plus environmental and government groups trying to promote natural gas and hydrogen as transportation fuels.
The Clean Bus Report is available on the coalition’s Web site at: http://www.ngvc.org/ngv/ngyc.nsf/bytitle/cleanbusreport.html
