Alternative-fuel coalition launches new bus-fuel newsletter

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Natural Gas Vehicle Coalition has launched a new quarterly newsletter it says is designed to provide timely and accurate information about alternative-fuel buses.

The Clean Bus Report will help eliminate confusion among transit officials and policy makers about the relative emissions, reliability and performance of alternative-fuel buses compared to diesel units including “green diesel” buses, says the NGHVC.

The newsletter features information about natural gas and hydrogen-powered buses, federal legislation affecting transit fuel decisions, and other news for transit officials.

The NGHVC is a national organization representing more than 180 natural gas companies, equipment manufacturers and service providers plus environmental and government groups trying to promote natural gas and hydrogen as transportation fuels.
