Con-Way assigns new president to Southern Express

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Thirty-year trucking industry veteran, David Miller, has been appointed president of Con-Way Southern Express.

Miller previously served as vice-president, strategic planning for Con-Way Transportation Services, and began his Con-Way career as a freight operations supervisor.

Miller has also been integral in many of Con-Way’s team projects and initiatives such as PRIDE, Con-Way’s basic operations process detailing how service center and freight assembly center operations are designed and managed.

As well as BITE, Business Integrated Transactions Effort which maps and streamlines the accounts receivable process. He was leader for the Manhattan Project which evaluates all information technology applications and he was also assigned to industry lobbying to help shape new border security regulations.
