Conference addresses cargo theft

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Fleet execs looking for a cost-effective solution to cargo theft problems may want to tap into the Truckload Carriers Association’s audio conference.

Registrations are still being accepted for the, “Fighting Back Against Cargo Crime with a Chance of Winning,” audio conference planned for tomorrow from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

The conference will be presented by Alan Spear, president of MRD Investigations (USA), Inc., Wheaton, Ill. And John Albrecht, vice president of Transport Security, Inc., Waconia, Minn. Avery Wise, editorial director of the Commercial Carrier Journal will also moderate the presentation.

The conference requirement is phone access. Once the call is placed on a speakerphone, as many individuals as possible can listen and participate, and individuals also have the ability to ask questions making it interactive.
