Conference set to prepare truckers for deliveries into Mexico

SAN ANTONIO, TX — The U.S. Department of Transportation is hosting a conference Oct. 21 to 24 to help prepare truckers for the opening of the U.S.-Mexico border to truck traffic.

There will be government officials on hand from the U.S., Mexico and Canada to provide information about subjects such as immigration and customs requirements and safety.

Carriers who intend to provide direct cross-border services to Mexico are encouraged to attend the session, held in San Antonio.
