TORONTO, Ont. — Federal Express Canada announced the resumption of services through domestic and international air operations as of Sept. 15.

“We have been given the approval to again move packages and freight by air and have worked very closely with Transport Canada to re-establish full operations,” says Don Colleran, president, FedEx Canada.

FedEx employees in both Canada and the U.S. were to work throughout the weekend and Monday, to deliver the backlog of international packages that built up due to air traffic restrictions.

“As we resume use of the Canadian air network, the safety of our employees and customers and security of their shipments remain our top priority,” adds Colleran.
