DELANCO, N.J. — Jevic Transportation Inc. recently awarded its annual safety bonuses, and in total doled out $759,783 to its professional drivers.

The annual safety bonuses are an incentive for safe driving. If a driver has an accident, which Jevic defines as any time the equipment returns to the yard in a different condition than the way it left, then a portion of that driver’s potential bonus is subtracted.

"The safety bonus program goes a long way to reinforce our focus of safe driving and security," says Paul Karvois, president and CEO. "It’s a win-win situation, because our customers are ensured safe, on-time delivery, and our drivers are shown appreciation for the professionalism they display."
