QUEENSTON, Ont. — Oversize/overweight load restrictions are in effect starting today until Dec. 22 at the Queenston-Lewiston bridge crossing.

The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission and the U.S. Customs Service says U.S.-bound oversize/overweight loads are being limited to 11 ft. and 130,000 lbs. while radiation detectors are installed at Customs booths on the Lewiston, N.Y. side of the bridge.

Also, two of the three truck booths on the U.S. side will be closed during the two weeks of construction. Auto Lane number seven will be open to handle trucks if necessary.
