TORONTO, Ont. — Are you confident your owner/operators would be deemed independent contractors if their status was put to the test?

With a number of fleets recently failing as a result of various federal and provincial agency rulings, the implications for you and your O/Os could be enormous and costly.

The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) will host a workshop on the topic on May 28, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Regal Constellation Hotel. The price for members will be $199 and $279 for non-members.

The session moderator will be OTA president David Bradley, and list of panelists includes a host of legal experts and consultants.

To register, call 416-249-7401.
