SELF-ASSESSMENT COURSE IN WINNIPEG

WINNIPEG, Man. — The Manitoba Trucking Association will be holding a seminar on Customs Self-Assessment system June 16 at Winnipeg’s Greenwood Inn.

The seminar, conducted in part by Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, will highlight the advantages of the system, as well as explain how carriers and importers must apply for the program.

The course costs association members $75 for the first person, with additional people charged $60. All others must pay $100, plus $85 per additional person.
