DELANCO, N.J., — Jevic Transportation, a U.S. national and local LTL carrier, has expanded its services in Central and Eastern Canada.

Previously, the company had only offered service to Montreal and Toronto. It didn’t immediately specify what other areas it will service.

“In addition to the benefits of less handling enroute to Canada, our customers now also have heated trailer service, Jevic’s Heat Fleet, at their disposal,” said Peter A. Robinson, spokesperson for the company.

Now the remaining regions will also benefit from Jevic’s use of this electronic customs system. In support of the expanded service into Canada, Jevic has several Canadian Specialists on staff who will be able to assist customers with paperwork and answer questions they may have concerning customs.

Jevic Transportation is a subsidiary of Yellow Corporation, a large U.S. carrier. Yellow recently announced it was laying off 160 workers.
