CBSA arrests truck driver, seizes 314 kg of methamphetamine at B.C. border crossing
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) arrested a foreign national truck driver after officers seized what the agency describes as the largest narcotics shipment ever intercepted at the Abbotsford-Huntingdon port of entry in British Columbia.
According to the CBSA, border services officers examined a commercial vehicle returning to Canada from the United States on Nov. 22, 2025. With assistance from a CBSA detector dog team, officers located 12 boxes containing approximately 314 kg of methamphetamine concealed within the truck and trailer.
CBSA said the driver, Satnam Singh, was arrested at the port of entry. He has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of importation and trafficking.

Who was the carrier that this driver was working for? Or was the driver an independent owner operator? This information should be readily accessible as shippers screen potential carriers and carriers screen potential driver hires. Yet it always seems that this information is not always released.
No wonder they can cut the rates by 20, 30, perhaps 50% to get the work away from the legitimate operators.
Hell, they can haul for FREE if it’s just a drug front!!
And it’s a given that for every one caught there are dozens more undetected.
Also no wonder so many well established, reputable carriers are closing their doors.
Name the carrier as well so that shippers can steer clear.
