CBSA officers nab truck driver trying to smuggle cocaine worth $23.4 million into Canada
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officers at the Ambassador Bridge port of entry in Ontario intercepted 187.5 kg of suspected cocaine concealed in the trailer of a commercial truck coming into Canada from the United States.
On May 23, during a secondary examination of the trailer, officers discovered two suitcases and five garbage bags containing 161 bricks of suspected cocaine. The approximate value of the cocaine is $23.4 million, according to a CBSA news release.

Officers seized the drugs and arrested the driver, Kambiz Karandish, 55, of Richmond Hill, Ont., and transferred him and the suspected cocaine to the custody of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
Karandish has been charged by the RCMP with importation of cocaine, and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. The investigation is ongoing.

The Canadian government is nothing but a big joke . They brought in millions of these immigrants and every day you read where they’re smuggling drugs stealing autos , in many of the shootings , lots been caught driving commercial vehicles without a license and lots of other things just to many to mention. You read where they’re been charged when caught but out on bail the same afternoon. People are just plain angry over how things are handled when it comes to dealing with the crime anymore. The government has people afraid to speak up because they say it’s racism but that has nothing to do with it . You commit a crime you should do the time . They want a make work program for Canadians because of tariffs maybe build some prisons and put them away for a while
