OTTAWA, Ont. — Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has launched its ACI eManifest portal for carriers.

The portal went live Aug. 29 and already CBSA says it has received 317 requests for secure passwords. Carriers can visit the site here to request a secure password that will provide access to the portal, allowing them to electronically submit load information in advance of arrival at the border in compliance with Canada’s ACI eManifest program.

Carriers that are involved in a trusted trader program such as CSA or PIP will have their requests for a password processed first, according to a notice from the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA).

The OTA says it will soon be offering hands-on training sessions on how to use the new portal.
