Canadian DEF prices climb for third straight month

TORONTO, Ont. — Bulk diesel exhaust fluid prices in Canada increased in February for the third consecutive month, according to DEF Tracker.

The average prices of truckload (48 cents/litre), LTL (58 cents/litre) and tote refills (61 cents/litre) were up across the board.

DEF pump prices remained unchanged at 80 cents/litre in Canada, DEF Tracker reported.

  • I cannot say I’m really surprised. It seems once the manufactures get a captive market, the prices always go up and there’s not a thing anyone can do about it, well, it would be nice if we could raise rates to keep up with it.
