CSCMP Toronto Roundtable preparing for its Sustainability Address

ETOBICOKE, Ont. — The Toronto Chapter of the CSCMP is presenting its  2011 “Sustainability” Address on Tuesday November 22, 2011 in Etobicoke.

The guest speaker is Virginia Garbutt, director of strategic network planning & improvement for Wal-Mart Canada Corp.

“Supply chain sustainability is a significant item on the executive agenda, even in the current economic uncertainty. The more successful companies in this area are not only reducing their environmental footprint, bringing economic development to the communities they serve, but also making money for their businesses and shareholders. Come out and hear how Wal-Mart has taken on this challenge and what they say  about their first sustainable distribution centre in Canada,” says Pamela Ruebusch, president for the Toronto Roundtable of the CSCMP.
