AKRON, Ohio– Fleets and owner-operators will get a first-hand look at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s Total Package Solution of products, services, and profitability tools at this month’s Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas, Texas.

Goodyear’s GATS booth (#19099) will showcase the Total Package Solution, which is designed “to help trucking operations lower their total cost of ownership,” according to Brian Buckham, marketing manager, Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems. In addition, a new mobile app that helps truck drivers connect with Goodyear commercial truck tire dealers for emergency roadside service will make its debut during GATS, which will take place Aug. 22-24 at the Dallas Convention Center.

Among the products and solutions that Goodyear will display at its GATS booth: Three SmartWay-verified, premium Goodyear brand tire lines: the G399A LHS Fuel Max, G572A LHD Fuel Max, and G392A SSD with DuraSeal + Fuel Max wide-base tire. All three lines have been enhanced to deliver increased fuel efficiency and long miles to removal, and feature Goodyear’s exclusive Fuel Max Technology, which contains fuel-saving compounds and advanced tread design and tire construction technology to help lower rolling resistance and improve tread life.

Goodyear retreads, including the G182 UniCircle retread product. “Goodyear’s exclusive, spliceless UniCircle Technology helps deliver enhanced traction and other benefits by ensuring snug adherence to a truck tire’s casing,” said Buckham.

The Goodyear-FleetHQ portfolio of business solutions, which offers a comprehensive line-up of services and solutions designed to help fleets lower their costs. These include the Goodyear-FleetHQ 24/7 Emergency Roadside Assistance program, which offers the fastest roll-time in the industry; Tire Trac, a dynamic online tool that monitors a fleet’s service history, the performance of individual tires, and other functions; the Goodyear-FleetHQ Dashboard, which presents information about tire, retread and service performance; and more.
